Terms & Conditions
Welcome to TechSol. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, software products and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services or engaging us for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About TechSol
TechSol ("we", "us", "our") is an IT solutions provider that designs, builds, deploys and supports software for businesses including point-of-sale systems, restaurant and snooker club management software, and custom desktop, web and mobile applications. You can reach us at labeebatifijaz@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +92 321 8806684.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server on which it is hosted, or any related systems;
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms or any other technologically harmful material;
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or exploit any portion of the website without our express written permission.
3. Software, Products & Services
Any software developed, licensed or installed by TechSol — whether off-the-shelf products such as TechSol Kitchen POS and TechSol Snooker Manager, or bespoke solutions — is provided under a separate Software Licence Agreement and/or project quotation that will be shared with you before delivery. That agreement, together with these Terms, governs your right to use the software.
3.1 Licence
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, software supplied by TechSol is licensed (not sold) to you on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis for use within your business only. You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile or modify the software except as permitted by applicable law.
3.2 Custom Development
For custom builds, scope, timelines and pricing are agreed in writing before work begins. Material changes to scope may affect timelines and cost and will be communicated transparently in advance.
3.3 Support & Updates
Post-delivery support, bug fixes and updates are provided on the terms set out in your project quotation or support agreement. Routine fixes for genuine defects are included; major new features and significant changes to scope are treated as separate work.
4. Payments
Project fees, licence fees and support fees are payable as set out in your quotation or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payment may delay support, updates or further work.
5. Client Responsibilities
To deliver our best work, we rely on you to:
- Provide accurate information and timely feedback during the project;
- Ensure your hardware, internet and printer setup meets the documented minimum requirements;
- Designate a point of contact authorised to make decisions on scope and approvals;
- Maintain backups of your business data and follow basic security practices.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the TechSol name and logo, text, graphics, layout, code and design — is owned by or licensed to TechSol and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view the website for personal, non-commercial purposes but you may not copy, modify or distribute any part without prior written permission.
For custom projects, ownership of deliverables transfers as set out in your contract, typically upon full payment. Underlying tools, frameworks, libraries and TechSol's pre-existing components remain the property of their respective owners and/or TechSol.
7. Data & Confidentiality
Where you share business data with us during a project, we treat it as confidential and use it solely for the purpose of delivering and supporting the agreed work. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle information.
8. Third-Party Links & Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and our software may integrate with third-party services (such as printers, payment gateways, messaging platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.
9. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
We take pride in the quality of our work and stand behind it. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
TechSol's total liability arising out of or in connection with any project shall not exceed the fees paid to TechSol for that project in the preceding twelve (12) months. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement for material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable period after written notice. On termination, you remain responsible for fees due up to the date of termination and we will hand over completed deliverables as set out in your contract.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pakistan.
